The Bikini Mile is a race that takes place between horse races at Hollywood Park featuring 14 gorgeous girls in bikinis in a “one mile” foot race around the racetrack. The Bikini Mile is conducted in a similar fashion as the regular horse race program at the track. The girls are numbered and post paraded with escorts, loaded into the starting gate, and then launched from the gate in a “full on” race around the track to the finish line down the Hollywood Park home stretch. After the race, there is a winner’s circle ceremony. The track announcer calls the action as in any other race.
